Paranoia The Remix
Promise Land Productions along with Interscope Records will be releasing the first single "Paranoia The Remix". The song is not a club joint it is politically charged talking about war, welfare, and health care in America. The risk of releasing a single like this is a chance that "The Rev" is willing to take. "My music is to educate our people and to send them a message I like dance music as well but really like music that has a real influence. There are some really great story tellers out there but I think we have gotten away from that". The promotion of the single will include a music video a low budget video produced by "The Rev" himself. Promise Land Productions is very happy with the finished product and Interscope will release the single on February 1.

From the lab to the streets!
This is the first blog from new artist "The Rev" Promise Land Productions newest weapon. The Rev was born in Pittsburgh Pa and was adopted when he was four years old. He started his love for rap music at a young age, when he started a group called "The Black Hype'. He and his friends Scotty Coles, Monique Johnson, and Wu-Tang member Andre Roxx had the group when they we younger. Raised in the church "Rev" played in a number of music groups around the area, with his cousin DJ Triplin, and Clifton Carter. Playing the drums is where he found his real love for beat placement and music production. He teamed up with Kolt Green, Tom Gibson, and Tommy Gregorchik to form "Shock" a christian rock group in the area. Writing their own music was and advantage that he didn't have while playing in the gospel circuit. His music reaches young and old fans of hip-hop that touches real life issues! He is now working on his mixtape album with PLP and will be distributed by Interscope Records.
